August 10, 2010 VCA Oso Creek Animal Hospital completes its six month animal clinical trials using Plasma Technologies, Inc. Nitric Oxide Plasma device.
Corpus Christi (August 10th, 2010) - Plasma Technologies, Inc., a Texas corporation in cooperation with VCA Oso Creek Animal Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas recently completed a six month animal clinical beta trial. PTI's PLASON® Thermal Plasma Nitric Oxide wound healing technology was used to treat six different small animals with severe, life-threatening traumatic wounds that were resistant to antibiotic therapy and difficult to treat by normal means. In all six cases, the PLASON® therapy helped control infection, including MRSA, and dramatically speeded healing rates.
"This third party beta trail helps affirm that PTI's PLASON® technology is able to control infections on living tissue, including difficult infections such as MRSA, and to promote quicker healing of living tissue as well, " said Bert Quintanilla, Plasma Technologies, Inc.'s VP of Community and Governmental Relations. "
The beta trial was supervised by Pam Pruitt, DVM, at VCA Oso Creek Animal Hospital in Corpus Christi. A copy of the beta trial results may be made available under certain conditions.
